Introduction

    Hi my name is Vanesa Solis, this is my third year at Alverno, I'm majoring in Business and minoring in Media Design. The reason I decided to major in business is because its always been something that's really interested me and the possibilities are endless on what you can do, I decided to go with a more artsy minor like media design because I've always been really interested in art and I wanted to incorporate that in the future. I'm looking to some day start my own business of some sort, I'm more so interested in the creative side of business rather than the financial side so I though that media design would help me throughout my business journey regardless of what I choose to do. My whole life I've been interested in art, ever since I was little I've always been super creative so I feel that something like owning my own little business will help me create something that's my own, from the interior to the exterior, to what is sold or the services provided. Something that I've always considered is having a little clothing store or a cafe or possibly get my real estate license and start my own house flipping business. All in all I'm very excited for the future and see what it holds for all of us and I'm also excited to learn new things and better my craft within this course.
